Ahhh, the Great Recession. Millions are losing their jobs which means millions are searching for new ones. For every position you’re after, there are 10 other guys vying for the same interview. Some are younger. Some are older. Some went to ivy-league schools, some cut their teeth on the street. But the one attribute that is more powerful than any listing on any resume, more striking than any thousand dollar Italian suit, is raw confidence. And as I’ve said many times, the absolute worst part about being bald for me was the lack of confidence.
In these harsh times, when the economy is sucking wind, the best investment you could ever make is to invest in yourself and gain the confidence to land that new job or promotion.

Before I re-grew my hair permanently, I can remember standing in front of the mirror as a balding guy in his 30’s before a sales presentation and second guessing absolutely everything. My clothes. My presentation. Myself. And looking back, I have no doubt that my lack of confidence was noticed in each and every meeting. I can also remember how my demeanor, delivery, and frankly, the dollars changed after I had a thick head of hair again. I landed new contracts, new career advancements, and tons of compliments with the meetings I attended. Confidence was the x-factor that I never realized I was missing until I got it back. Confidence changed my career, my personal life, and my lifestyle altogether.
The doctors at MHR helped me restore the confidence I lost. The hair transplantation made it possible for me to live without the burden of worrying about my hair and finally look ahead to conquering my career goals. It was probably the only investment I have ever made that literally paid for itself after probably two sales presentations. The promotions and bonuses that followed were all gravy from there. I’m not discounting a solid resume, or a nice suit for that matter, but nothing makes you stand out against your competition more than confidence. For me, looking and feeling younger was the key to my success.
